Steven Universe FC-Spinel

Since everyone seems to be on a "create your Gem fan character" binge, I figured: "why not?" The show's pretty good, and I just had to let myself get suckered into this~ Oh well, it was fun. I tried to go for an old-school manga, Osamu Tezuka-esque feel with the overall aesthetics with this particular character.

Spinel hails from one of the planets that were conquered by the Gem Homeworld and converted into Kindergartens. However, Spinel herself gave the whole idea of the war her kind wages against the rest of the universe a proverbial middle finger, by hijacking the nearest space ship and heading out to unknown, travelling around the universe and going wherever the adventure takes her. Very upbeat and cheerful, with an interest in various otherworldly societies and cultures. Eventually she stumbles upon Earth, and having fallen in love with a wide variety of cultures that can be found on this planet, she decided to stick around and explore. Due to her curious nature and quick learning capabilities, she's able to fit in easily among the populace. While she generally avoids confrontation, she's a skilled fighter and uses a pair of axes to fend off any foes that try to ruin her day.
