Brainiac concept

More fiddling with DC universe characters, this time, Superman's enemy Brainiac. In the DCAU cartoons he was shown to be a Kryptonian supercomputer gone rogue, bent on gathering data of everything in the universe before destroying the originals.

In my idea, I kept his Kryptonian origin, but I decided to make him a hero instead of a villain. Faced with Krypton's imminent destruction and being unable to convince the Council that the Kryptonians should evacuate, Brainiac turned to the only scientist who believed him: Jor-El. Building the body for Brainiac to move around, Jor-El tasked Brainiac with protecting his son Kal-El on their journey to Earth. Once they got there however, Brainiac was separated from the baby. However, he managed to track him down to the Kent family, who found and adopted him. Initially confused at what to do, Brainiac eventually decided to approach the couple, and he explained to them the history and final fate of Krypton. Brainiac decided to leave Kal-El in the hands of Jonathan and Martha to be raised under name Clark, believing that the two Earthlings will do a far better job at raising the kid and introducing him into the society. However, he kept a watchful eye over them, posing as human, a high-school teacher Milton Fine. As Clark grew, Brainiac and Kents realized that the kid began to display superhuman abilities like incredible strength, invulnerability and flight-Brainiac soon realized that the Earth's yellow Sun changed Clark's physiology, turning him into a metahuman. When Clark turned 18, Brainiac finally revealed his true self to him and explained to him his origins. Two began the long and extensive training in order to help Clark understand and control his ever-growing powers and abilities...
While his body posesses incredible strength and durability, Brainiac is still inferior to Clark in terms of fighting capabilities, however, not much of Earth's weaponry can harm him. As he posesses artificial intelligence, he keeps learning more and more about Earth customs, emotions and uses his human disguise to express these emotions. In public, he refers to Clark by his Earth name, but in private and as Superman he refers to him by his Kryptonian name.
